Josef Hospital i København. Min mor
mig selv bo andre steder.

My mom and I moved to Nuuk,
Greenland (http://www.nuuk.gl) in 1988 where I basically grew up
and went to high school (http://www.gu-nuuk.gl).
Although I haven’t been in Greenland since 2002 this beautiful
country still have a very special place in my heart and I often
think back on my youth in Nuuk as a wonderful time. Once in
while I see myself moving back on day but not in the near
future. |

In 1995 I enrolled on Copenhagen Business School (http://www.cbs.dk)
where I studied HA.dat computer science and business administration
(http://www.cbs.dk/uddannelser/bachelor/bacheloruddannelser/ha_dat) also
called DOEK (http://www.doek.dk/) . I graduated with my bachelor degree
in 1998 where I wrote my thesis .. management in IT organizations.
After I graduated I felt an urge to get a job where I could use my
theoretical knowledge from School. Although I worked parallel with my
studies as an IT manager and developer at a small consulting firm I felt
that I needed to move on into a bigger organization. As such I started
to work with Siemens Nixdorf - later Siemens Business Services and now
Siemens (http://www.siemens.dk) as a systems development trainee within
Siemens SAP consulting services where I was trained as a SAP programmer
and basis consultant.
In 1999 I started to work with data warehousing as I was a part of
Siemens initiative to be first movers on the SAP data warehouse
technology SAP Business Warehouse - today called SAP NetWeaver BI - and
at the same time I decided to complete my candidate degree at CBS. My
time in Siemens was a truly great time which basically provided me with
the professional capabilities which I have build my carear on. As such I
enjoyed my time in Siemens and have some of my best friends from that
time – among these Morten, Olaf and Peter. However I have to admit that
when I enrolled with Platon A/S in 2002 it was the best professional
decision I have made in my life.
Platon is the leading information management consulting firm in
Scandinavia and has developed from just 3 employees in 1998 to over 150
employees today represented in more than 6 different locations in
Scandinavia and northern Europe.
In 2002 Platon was in the middle of a great expansion and as a part of
this focusing on recruiting competence to introduce and build SAP
competences in Platon. As such I was contacted by a headhunter who
introduced me to Platon and our CEO Michael, and it didn't take me very
long to decide that this was how I wanted to pursue my carear.
I enrolled with Platon (http://www.platon.net) 1st of April 2002 where
my primary task was to establish a solid foundation on which we could
build a focused SAP center of competence, introduce the technical
know-how, kick-start recruitment and most importantly of all brand
Platon as a player in the SAP BI market. Today we are a total of 12+
employees working with all parts of the so called SAP Netweaver
application platform and I act as consulting manager for our technical
resources.
Although I used to have a very technical profile today my primary
interest is more management related. I aim to keep our SAP related
center of competence and activities aligned with Paton’s overall
strategy and view on information management as well as the ongoing
development of our employees within the SAP Netweaver center of
competences. I still however work regularly with the technical SAP
skills which we cover in Platon including SAP NW-BI, SAP NW-MDM, SAP
NW-PI, SAP NW-Portals and core SAP as well as the general disciplines of
data warehousing including DW architecture/design, ETL and IM project
management and account management.
In my spare time I have one major passion. I love football (soccer) and
my passion is primarily aim at FC Copenhagen (http://www.fck.dk) and
Liverpool FC (http://www.liverpollfc.tv) although I in general try to
see as many games as possible regardless of the teams playing. I’m
guaranteed to be in the audience when FC Copenhagen is playing at home
as I have a reserved seat at Parken Stadium (http://www.parken.dk) – the
home ground of FCC.
Besides football I love politics and enjoy following public debates and
discussions as well as I love to study religion.
I’m very much a traditional guy. My family has always been very focused
on traditions and we are all religious in a very relaxed way. For years
I have considered myself as a liberal idealist (http://www.venstre.dk)
meaning that I truly believe that man must be allowed to take care of
his own life and say what he/she thinks or believes in but at the same
time are obligated to fight egoism and nepotism and prejudice for all
cost. The idealist in me believes that we could make the world a far
better place if we all for just a few minutes every day could put aside
our urges to make a good life for ourselves and instead dedicated our
resources to think of the man next to us.
Once again thanks for your interest in my site here at frank4u.dk.
Besides this site a have my profile at MySpace on
http://www.myspace.com/franke4u and at facebook at
http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=588679515. Please feel free
to come and viste me there.
Take care…
/Mads
